Medicine. Hand-Schuller-Christian disease, a pathological condition, often associated with diabetes insipidus, in which the bones, esp. of the skull, are invaded by lipid-laden histiocytes. Also called Schuller-Christian disease, Schuller-Christian syndrome, Schuller-Christian's disease, Schuller-Christian's syndrome.
