Nuclear Physics. Used attrib. to designate a theory of the scattering of subatomic particles, and associated concepts.
Regge pole a pole of a complex function relating the scattered amplitude of partial waves to angular momentum. Regge trajectory a path traced in the complex angular momentum plane by a Regge pole as the energy varies; esp. a plot of spin against the square of the rest mass for a group of particles.
Reggeization noun treatment or modification in accordance with Regge theory M20.
Reggeized adjective treated or modified in accordance with Regge theory L20.
