A. noun.
1. An additional or subordinate thing; an adjunct, an accompaniment; a minor fitting or attachment; a small article of (usu. a woman's) dress. Now usu. in pl. LME.
2. A person who helps in or is privy to any act, esp. a crime. LME.

B. adjective.
1. Of a thing: additional; subordinately contributing, dispensable; adventitious. E17.
