A glassy opaque or semi-transparent coating applied by fusion to metallic or Other hard surfaces, either as ornamentation or as a protective coating. LME.

In full enamel paint. A kind of paint which flows freely and gives a very smooth glossy finish. M19.
A cosmetic giving a smooth glossy appearance. M20.
