Metallurgy. A eutectic of austenite and iron phosphide (and sometimes cementite) occurring in phosphorus-rich irons and steels and containing dissolved phosphorus. E20.
Mineralogy. A siliceous variety of apatite, usu. containing iron, occurring native and in basic slag as yellowish needles. E20.
