1. Forming adjectives and nouns with the senses 'over, above, higher than (in situation or position)'; 'on, upon' (suprarenal), 'of or pertaining to the upper part of' (supramaxillary).
2. Forming adjectives and nouns with the sense 'higher in quality, amount, or degree; superior; beyond, more than' (supranational).
3. Forming adjectives, nouns, and (rarely) verbs with the sense 'very highly, extremely, in the highest degree' (suprasensual).
4. Forming nouns and adjectives expressing or involving addition or repetition (supradecompound).
