CONFEDERACY, crim (law)


CONFEDERACY, crim. law. An agreement between two or more persons to do an unlawful act, or an act, which though not unlawful in itself, becomes so by unlawful act, or an act, which though not unlawful in itself, becomes so by the confederacy.
