Hegglin's anomaly


A disorder in which neutrophils and eosinophils contain basophilic structures known as Dohle or Amato bodies and in which there is faulty maturation of platelets, with thrombocytopenia; autosomal dominant inheritance.

Synonym: May-Hegglin anomaly.
