<investigation> A test which is used to detect the presence of aspergillus antibodies in the blood. The normal result is read as negative or no antibodies.

A strong reaction can indicate pulmonary aspergillosis. Some forms of hypersensitivity pneumonia may also yield a weakly positive test result.
