Italian Tomato Salad

(serves 4)



Ingredients

6 ripe tomatoes

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1 clove garlic, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup olive oil



Directions

Slice tomatoes in thick slices; arrange in serving platter. Sprinkle oregano, garlic, and salt over tomatoes; drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes and let marinate for at least 15 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
