tetradymite
<chemical> A telluride of bismuth. It is of a pale steel-gray colour and metallic luster, and usually occurs in foliated masses. Calles also telluric bismuth.

Origin: Gr. Fourfold. So named from its occurrence in compound twin crystals, or fourlings.
