Herod the Great
(74-4 BC) the king of Judea at the time when Jesus Christ was born. according to the New Testament of the Bible, he ordered that all the male babies in Bethlehem should be killed because he wanted to kill the baby who ancient stories said would become king.
Herod Antipas
(21 BC-AD 39) a Roman governor in Palestine, who was the son of Herod the Great. In the New Testament of the Bible, he ordered the killing of John the Baptist, and later he refused to make a decision about whether Jesus should be killed or not.
