Timpanogos Cave National Monument (sh)




Preserve, Utah, U.S. Located on the northwestern slope of Mount Timpanogos (12,008 ft [3,660 m]), the highest peak of the Wasatch Mountains, it was established in 1922; it occupies 250 ac (101 ha).

It centres around a three-chambered limestone cave noted for its pink and white crystal-filigreed walls and tinted formations.
