Bacon-Wrapped Breadsticks

Yield: Makes 16 breadsticks



Ingredients:



8slices bacon

16garlic-flavored breadsticks (about 8 inches long)

3/4cup grated Parmesan cheese

2tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)









Preparation:





1.Cut bacon slices in half lengthwise. Wrap half slice of bacon diagonally around each breadstick. Combine Parmesan cheese and parsley, if desired, in shallow dish; set aside.2.Place 4 breadsticks on double layer of paper towels in microwave oven. Microwave on HIGH 2 to 3 minutes or until bacon is cooked through. Immediately roll breadsticks in Parmesan mixture to coat. Repeat with remaining breadsticks.
