Chocolate-Granola Bars (recipes)




Yield: Makes 32 bars



Ingredients:



3cups raisin-and-nut granola

1/2cup finely chopped dried apricots

1/2cup finely chopped dates

12ounces white chocolate, coarsely chopped

1/4cup half-and-half or evaporated milk









Preparation:





1.Butter 8-inch square pan. Combine granola, apricots and dates in medium heat-proof bowl; set aside.2.Melt white chocolate with half-and-half in heavy, small pan over low heat, stirring constantly.3.Pour chocolate mixture over granola mixture and stir until coated. Press into prepared pan. Refrigerate until firm.4.Cut into 2X1-inch bars. Store in refrigerator.
