Ingredients



For the cinnamon-wrapped banana20 x 2cm/8 x ¾in strip ready-rolled puff pastry1 free-range egg, beaten1 banana, peeled½ tsp ground cinnamonFor the hot chocolate sauce50g/1¾oz dark chocolate3 tbsp milk



Method



1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.2. Brush the pastry strip with the egg, then wrap the pastry around the banana. Place on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with the cinnamon and bake in the oven for 7-8 minutes until lightly golden. 3. For the chocolate sauce, place the chocolate and milk into a glass bowl. Place the bowl over a pan of just-simmering water and slowly melt until completely smooth. 4. To serve, slice the banana in half and arrange on a plate. Pour over the hot chocolate sauce.
