Danish Bagel (recipes)




Yield: Makes 2 servings



Ingredients:



1raisin or blueberry bagel, halved

1/2cup ricotta cheese

8teaspoons Cinnamon Sugar (recipe follows), divided

1peach, thinly sliced









Preparation:





1.Preheat broiler.2.Spread bagel halves with ricotta. Sprinkle each half with 2 teaspoons Cinnamon Sugar. Arrange peach slices over cheese. Sprinkle with remaining Cinnamon Sugar.3.Place bagel halves on baking sheet. Broil 6 inches from heat, about 4 minutes, until sugar is bubbly and mixture is hot. Serve warm.







CINNAMON SUGAR:

Combine 1/2 cup sugar with 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. Store in shaker-top jar.
