Ginger Wings with Peach Dipping Sauce (recipes)


Ginger Wings with Peach Dipping Sauce

Yield: Makes 6 appetizer servings



Ingredients:



Peach Dipping Sauce (recipe follows)

2pounds chicken wings

1/4cup soy sauce

2cloves garlic, minced

1teaspoon ground ginger

1/4teaspoon white pepper









Preparation:





1.Preheat oven to 400°F. Line 15X10X1-inch jelly-roll pan with foil; set aside.2.Prepare Peach Dipping Sauce; set aside.3.Cut off and discard wing tips from chicken. Cut each wing in half at joint. Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger and pepper in large bowl. Add chicken and stir until well coated. Place chicken in single layer in prepared pan. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until browned, turning over halfway through cooking time. Serve hot with Peach Dipping Sauce.







Peach Dipping Sauce

Yield: Makes 1/2 cup



Ingredients:



1/2cup peach preserves

2tablespoons light corn syrup

1teaspoon white vinegar

1/4teaspoon ground ginger

3/4teaspoon soy sauce









Preparation:





1.Combine preserves, corn syrup, vinegar and ginger in small saucepan. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until mixture simmers. Remove from heat; add soy sauce. Let cool.
