Microwaved Oats Cereal (recipes)




Yield: Makes 2 servings



Ingredients:



1-3/4cups water

1/3cup uncooked old-fashioned oats

1/3cup oat bran

1tablespoon brown sugar

1/4teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8teaspoon salt









Preparation:





1.Combine water, oats, oat bran, sugar, cinnamon and salt in large microwavable bowl (cereal expands rapidly when it cooks). Cover with vented plastic wrap.2.Microwave on HIGH about 6 minutes or until thickened. Stir well. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.
