Parsley-Basil Pesto (recipes)




Yield: Makes about 1/2 cup



Ingredients:



2cups fresh parsley

1/4cup pine nuts or slivered almonds

2tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

2cloves garlic, peeled

1tablespoon dried basil

1/4teaspoon salt

2tablespoons olive or vegetable oil









Preparation:





1.Process all ingredients except oil in food processor or blender until finely chopped. With machine running, add oil gradually, processing until mixture is smooth.
