Sauteed Cherry Tomatoes (recipes)


Ingredients

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 tablespoons light brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

2 small onions, sliced

4 cups cherry tomatoes

1/2 teaspoon salt

fresh ground pepper

1/4 cup minced fresh parsley



Directions

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add brown sugar and oregano and mix well. Increase the heat to high, add onions and tomatoes; cook for 3 minutes and shake pan frequently. Do not over cook; tomatoes and onions should retain their texture. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley.
