Ingredients



110g/4oz sirloin steak30g/1oz butterFor the rosti:30g/1oz butter30g/1oz leek, sliced1/3 potato, peeled and gratedsalt and freshly ground black pepper



Method



1. Preheat 2 medium frying pans.2. Melt the butter for the rosti in one of the frying pans.3. Add the leek and potato and pat down to cover the surface of the pan.4. Season the rosti.5. Melt the butter for the steak in the second pan. Add the steak and fry 2-5 minutes, either side.6. Flip the rosti and fry the Other side until golden and crispy.7. Remove the steak from the pan. Remove the rosti from the pan. 8. Place the rosti on the plate, top with the steak and serve.
