Steak San Marino
Yield: Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
1/4cup all-purpose flour
1teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon black pepper
1beef round steak (about 1-1/2 pounds), cut into 4 pieces or 2 beef top round steaks, cut in half
1can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
2carrots, chopped
1/2onion, chopped
1stalk celery, chopped
1teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1bay leaf
Hot cooked rice
Preparation:
1.Combine flour, salt and pepper in small bowl. Dredge each steak in flour mixture; place in slow cooker. Combine tomato sauce, carrots, onion, celery, Italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce and bay leaf in small bowl; pour into slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours.2.Remove and discard bay leaf. Serve steaks and sauce over rice.
