Suzie' s Sloppy Joes

Yield: Makes 8 servings



Ingredients:



3pounds lean ground beef

1cup chopped onion

3cloves garlic, minced

1-1/4cups ketchup

1cup chopped red bell pepper

1/4cup plus 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4cup packed brown sugar

3tablespoons prepared mustard

3tablespoons vinegar

2teaspoons chili powder

Toasted hamburger buns









Preparation:





1.Cook and stir ground beef, onion and garlic in large nonstick skillet 6 to 8 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring to separate beef. Drain fat.2.Combine ketchup, bell pepper, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar and chili powder in slow cooker. Stir in beef mixture. 3.Cover; cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours. Spoon mixture onto hamburger buns.
