Private liberal arts college in Hartford, Conn.

, founded in 1823. It is historically affiliated with the Episcopal church, though its curriculum is nonsectarian. Bachelor's degrees are granted in more than 30 different study areas, and graduate study is offered by several departments, including economics, English, and history. Trinity participates in a cooperative exchange program with 12 New England colleges and universities.
